The Fitting Room

I'm doing a Bible study. Scratch that. I'm leading a Bible study. That's the plan, anyway. I'm a little nervous but i do feel like this is what i've been called by God to do.

Deep breath.

I'm a twenty-something single. And so i'm guessing i'm not the only twenty-something single out there. When my church announced the Fall Group Season a couple of weeks ago, i could not get the urge off of my heart that there needs to be a ministry for single women in their 20s and 30s. So i'm starting one. Tonight i will present my group to all the other group leaders in my church. I'm a little nervous, but more than ever confident that i'm walking in obedience in this area of my life.

I've heard incredible things about this particular author and the title just struck me. It's about learning how to clothe ourselves in the character of Jesus. It's not about being perfect. (phew!) SO my goal for the group is to provide a safe place for single women to come and do life together while encouraging and supporting and praying for one another while learning more about God and letting him "fit" us for our futures. Prayers greatly appreciated. :)
