Ziplining. Well. I haven't done it yet. But it's on my list of things to do. I'm either going this weekend or next. That's the plan anyway. I'm excited to do something adventurous. I think adventure is something we as humans crave. We love the adrenaline rush. We love to feel free. I'd imagine it's pretty scary to step off the ledge and fly through the air holding on for dear life, but it's probably a pretty incredible feeling--the letting go. The comfort zone. I've been blogging about it. I'm trying to step out of it. I stepped out of it last night when i spoke to a group of people about "The Fitting Room" that is coming up in about another week. (sidenote: It went great.) I believe that God blesses us especially when we step out of our safe confines and do something bold in obedience for Him.
Katie sent me verses before i went into my meeting last night. Psalm 68:7-11. Verse 11 is the one that struck me the most. 11:The Lord announces the word, and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng. A mighty throng. I want to be apart of that in a big way.
Today is a fresh start. Today i choose to get out of my own way. Out of my comfort zone. Let go. And step into my destiny as a daughter of the King. Join me.
