"I'm as Free as my Hair"

Love me some lady gaga.

In one of the songs off her most recent album, she writes:

I've had enough, this is my prayer

That i'll die livin' just as free as my hair....

I want to feel like that. That i'm as free as my hair.

So, i've been thinking....

about freedom. thanks, LadyGaga.

freedom: [free-duh'm] noun.

1. the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint.

2. exemption from external control, interference, regulation, etc.

3. the power to determine action without restraint.

4. personal liberty, as opposed to bondage or slavery.

So. I've talked about freedom before. And you didn't need me to define it for you. I've talked about how freedom reigns. And i want it to reign in my life. I'm back on track from last week's slump. Okay, major slump. I'm back to feeling empowered. Liberated. And i want to stay in this place of feeling free of chains that try and bind me.

Now the Lord is the Sprirt, and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17.

Leave it to LadyGaga and Jesus to inspire me. :) So what am i going to do with all of this freedom? Well, i'm going to revel in it. I'm going to soak in it. But that's not all. I'm getting a hair cut today. Major hair cut. Just because i can. And i want a change. And BONUS, it'll be out of my comfort zone. Even better. Deep breath.
